Lost theories!

I think that it's been at least ... since the show started.

But I'm at work and watching tvguide.com because that's how I roll and people have thought that Amy's baby can be one of the following: Desmond, Daniel, Jacob, or Ethan.

So, which one do you think it is? It's definitely ONE of them.

I don't know why but I always imagined Jacob as some old aging man or at least he looks like Locke's dad. I don't know why. I'm going to throw in my hat for Daniel though.

Ethan, really? Yeah, that's a good one. That was everyone's number one choice. I guess I'm just trying to find the significance about Ethan this far away from his death. Yeah, I didn't think of Desmond either! Not my pick though.

Maybe thinking about Jacob as an old man because he kind of looked like one in the cabin and maybe now we're imagining Jack Shepard. Who knows, hopefully we'll find out his identity.

I honestly didn't even think about who the baby might be until someone mentioned it to me a couple of weeks ago. My vote is on Ethan though. I think Desmond was born in Scotland, I'm pretty sure Jacob is just an old man that stays old or could maybe be even different to different people who see him. And didn't Daniel meet his mom when he was investigating the bomb and told them they had to bury it? I guess they never really said, but I always assumed it was his mother that was the one who showed him where the bomb was, either way, he looked at her and talked to her like she was someone very significant in his life. I don't think it's Daniel though, so I guess that leaves Ethan!

Man, talking Lost can really bring me out of my cave.

First of all - omg hi Meri! How are you?

Second, I don't think that I've been paying as much attention to this as I should which is why I'm still jonesin' for Lost S4 so I can review everything I missed. But, I think I'm being persuaded that everyone's right (you're right) and it is Ethan. I'm just wondering what kind of significance Ethan has this late in the game or is it just something that's going to be like 'oh, it was Ethan'. With this show, I doubt that the focus on his birth had no meaning. It has to have some kind of meaning.

Can't wait until it's back! You should come out of your cave more often. :)

Hello! Long time no see, I know. I've been good!

I'm not at all sure why it would be Ethan either, which leads me to believe it could be someone else entirely, but who knows. If it IS Ethan than I'd like to know how he made the transition from Dharma Initiative to The Others. And I'm also interested in what his significance. Oh Lost, it always keeps us on our toes.

I can't wait either, and I might venture out a little more often if the weather's nice.
