Lost theories!

I think that it's been at least ... since the show started.
But I'm at work and watching tvguide.com because that's how I roll and people have thought that Amy's baby can be one of the following: Desmond, Daniel, Jacob, or Ethan.
So, which one do you think it is? It's definitely ONE of them.
I don't know why but I always imagined Jacob as some old aging man or at least he looks like Locke's dad. I don't know why. I'm going to throw in my hat for Daniel though.

But, I think I'm being persuaded that everyone's right (you're right) and it is Ethan. I'm just wondering what kind of significance Ethan has this late in the game or is it just something that's going to be like 'oh, it was Ethan'. With this show, I doubt that the focus on his birth had no meaning. It has to have some kind of meaning.
Can't wait until it's back! You should come out of your cave more often. :)

If it IS Ethan than I'd like to know how he made the transition from Dharma Initiative to The Others. And I'm also interested in what his significance. Oh Lost, it always keeps us on our toes.
I can't wait either, and I might venture out a little more often if the weather's nice.
