Interesting film character choices. I had no idea the character of Norman Bates fascinated you so much. I saw that film for the first time when I was about ten or eleven years old and I loved it to bits. Anthony Perkins' face in that final shot is haunting. Norma Desmond and Vito Corleone are such iconic screen characters. Tom Hulce was wonderful in Amadeus and I agree that his role is the reason behind my interest in Mozart. However, in terms of performance, I thought F. Murray Abraham was a stunning example of subtle emotion and grace.
