My absolute favorite moment in QAF fandom came the Sunday night (AND day after) Justin topped Brian in ep whatever-it-is. At that point there were plenty of folks (but not as many as later) that were spoiler-hos and they knew a lot. But they didn't know this. NOBODY knew this.
The fandom and the internet exploded that night. The hysteria, the happiness, the tears - people went crazy. The excitement was so intense it was coming off the computer screen in palpable waves. Emotions were off the chart. Looking back it's hard to imagine people getting that emotional about two TV characters but we were, oh my god we were. It was the VERY BEST night of my fandom life!!!
and yes, I was one of the DC++ gang and I still miss that p2p - you could find ANYthing there.
