family update.

Apparently the water went all the way up to their waists in the house so they had to leave. My aunts stayed at a neighbor's house who lives higher up and my cousins slept on a table or something. The house is a big mess, water probably ruined everything, and my cousin's kid (she's 16 --- I think) is cleaning up most of it. So, they're okay. I know many people have had it worse. Thanks for your thoughts and I hope everyone who has family there are able to get in contact with them.

Yeah, definitely a lot of trouble over there. My aunts are both in their 80s so the whole thing kind of sucks for them physically anyway. They also need someone else other than my young cousin to help them clean. :| Thank you though! :)

I know, totally scary! Thank you! I agree. I think that their things can be replaced but as long as they weren't suddenly surprised by the flood waters, they were relatively prepared.

I'm so sorry they had their house flooded, I know how scary that is. But I'm glad they're ok, that's the most important thing.

Thank you! Definitely glad that they're okay and that the water isn't unusual. When it rains a lot that's what happens in their house but I don't ever think it's been waist deep before. We'll be checking up on them throughout the week. <3
